Glitch: The Lost Pixel is a small game made by two people. There are no accounts and no ads, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.

What the game stores on your device

Your progress, settings and a random player id (a string of letters and numbers, not tied to you), in your browser's local storage. Clearing your site data erases them.

What it sends to our server

We don't collect your real name, contacts or location, or your email unless you add it to feedback. Like any website, our host (Microsoft Azure) may briefly keep standard request logs, which include IP addresses. Our game server itself doesn't see or store IP addresses.

How long we keep it

Your runs, leaderboard name and scores stay for as long as the game is running, so your progress and place on the board stay with you. Visit and death records are deleted after two years. Feedback, and any email you gave with it, is deleted a year after you send it.

Children

The game is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them. If you think a child under 13 has sent us something (a leaderboard name or feedback), email us and we'll delete it.

Who sees it

Only us, to make the game better. Leaderboard names and scores are public.

Deleting your data

Email privacy@playglitch.app with your leaderboard name (or the device and roughly when you played) and we'll delete everything tied to it.

Feedback

Use Feedback under the game's menu, or email hello@playglitch.app. We read everything.
